New laptop chargers are made for a range of laptops and depend on the power output and tip required.
To be sure this is the right thing for you, look at the “Input” power on the laptop, or the “Output” power on the broken charger. If the Voltage is equal to or less than 19.5V and the Amperage is less than or equal to 4.62A, this product will be powerful enough. Also, have a look at the tips pictured and see if you recognise yours.
I would not sell, or bother with, a used laptop charger unless I was in a real pinch. If this is the case, one might be available at a used goods store. Just be sure the voltage, amperage, and tip match exactly, or you risk breaking the laptop.
